The work crew is removing the large concrete slabs from the side of the building (this process is called saw cutting). Because of the size of the slabs they need to take them down in pieces, this requires very loud jack hammers and saws. To minimize disruption for Simmons faculty, staff and students, this work will take place at night, from 11pm to 6am.
