Beginning on Tuesday, February 22, Simmons College will begin operating an evening shuttle service.  The service is being offered as a pilot program, to gauge the interest and usage of a shuttle service.  The purpose of the service is to provide evening access between the Simmons College Main Campus, Residence Campus and local MBTA stations.  This new shuttle program will operate until May 6th.

This shuttle service will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will make its last run at 11:00 p.m.  The stops are as follows:

An additional stop will be added after 9 p.m. to fill in for the MASCO Ruggles shuttle.  This stop will occur after the MBTA E line stop.

It is anticipated that each trip will take approximately 40 minutes before 9 p.m. and approximately 45 minutes after 9 p.m. to complete.  To keep on schedule the shuttle will only stop at the designated stops and will not make any other stops or detours.

This service is being offered on a trial basis.  The ridership will be closely monitored and the number of riders will be used in determining whether or not it will become a permanent service in the future.  Please be advised as we learn more about demand and traffic flow, service may be modified to improve overall efficiency.

The Shuttle will depart from the parking lot behind 300 The Fenway at the following times:  4:30, 5:10, 5:50, 6:30, 7:10, 7:50, 8:30, 9:30, 10:15, 11:00
