On Saturday, June 11th, the first annual New England SCORES Corporate Cup, an all-day charity soccer tournament benefiting the children of New England SCORES will take place at Boston University's Nickerson Field. New England SCORES is a non-profit, located in Jamaica Plain, which provides after-school soccer and creative writing programs for Boston public elementary school students in grades 3 to 5.
Employees from corporations all over Boston will go head to head during a 7 v. 7, coed soccer tournament resulting in just one New England SCORES Corporate Cup Champion team. The following companies have sponsored teams that will compete for the coveted Champion title: Putnam Investments, Advent International, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Palmer & Dodge, LLP, Bingham McCutchen, LLP. Goulston & Storrs, Deloitte, Zoom Information Inc., and Tapestry Networks.
We need volunteers to help with: Soccer Referees, Set-Up, General Facilitation, Take Down and Clean Up. The day will run from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, volunteers will pick shifts. Please contact Marco Sotelino: (617) 971-0066 or msotelino@americascores.org to volunteer.
