New Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

To the Simmons Community:
I'm pleased to announce that I have appointed Cathryn Mercier Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. Cathie, as you may know, has administrative experience as the director of our first-year program, The Multi-disciplinary Core Course (MCC) and is currently the Director of the Children's Literature graduate program. Cathie is Associate Professor of English and has been at the College for twenty years. I am delighted that she has agreed to join the CAS Dean's Office, where her focus will be faculty development, curriculum, and workload.
Please join me in welcoming Cathie to this new position.
