Web Production Specialist: General or Work Study
$11 an hour, 10 - 20 hours a week
Simmons College Technology
Part-time production work in a small web services office. You will get some exposure to project management, information architecture, graphic design and general site management by working within a small web design team.
Qualifications:
- detail oriented;
- have good communication skills (writing, proofreading, etc);
- have good computer skills;
- be comfortable working on Mac OSX;
- have competency in Office or similar;
- understand the basics of HTML and uploading/downloading files;
- have prior experience working on a website via hand-coding or Dreamweaver or similar;
- take direction well and work under deadline.
In addition,
- the ideal candidate will know XHTML/CSS and be familiar with web standards, usability and accessibility;
- the exceptional candidate will know all this plus PHP/MySQL or similar.
