We still have a few Frosty's Friends letters from children from the Ellis Memorial and Eldridge House waiting for someone to fulfull their holiday wishes. Simmons College through the Scott Ross Center has teamed up with the volunteer organization, Boston Cares for the annual Frosty’s Friends program! More than 1,850 children will have their holiday wishes fulfilled as the result of participants like you.
We encourage you to stop by the Scott/Ross Center (MCB W102)to pick up an original letter to Frosty from the child or their advocate and to purchase this requested holiday gift. Once matched, we ask that all the children’s gifts be brought to the Scott Ross Center no later than Friday, December 9, 2005 so that we can deliver the gifts to the Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House by the requested deadline.
Another opportunity to participate in holiday giving is to purchase or donate a book to the Farragut School Library from the Wish List they have provided. Each donated book can include a bookplate with the donors name or in honor of another person. We also have handmade "bibliotags", gift tags created by GSLIS staff $3 for 5 with proceeds to benefit the Farragut School library.
For questions about Frosty’s Friends or the other holiday giving programs please feel free to email Morgan Darby at darby@simmons.edu. or come by (MCB W102) or call the Scott Ross Center at 617-521-2244.
