6 Harvest Family Festival 1:00-4:30 pm, Peabody Essex Museum
A celebration of harvest customs in the Wampanoag culture well as in Colonial and contemporary New England. Watch and participate in Native American dances, listen to harvest stories, and create harvest related art.http://www.pem.org
9 Movie: Smoke Signals 7:00pm, Library Lecture Hall, Emmanuel College
This is the first film written, directed, and acted completely by American Indians.
Followed by a discussion with DeShanne Stokes, Member, Lakota Tribe.
