CAB would like to invite the entire Simmons community to a lecture by Frank Meeink, former Neo-Nazi, on Wednesday, March 29th in C101 at 7pm.
Frank Meeink mentions in his lecture how serving time in prison and creating diverse friendships has changed him dramatically. Currently Frank Meeink is working to promote diversity through sports and teamwork in many areas of the country. He speaks of this turnaround and diversity program in his speech and will answer any questions that you may have about it.
This event is free and open to the Simmons & Colleges of The Fenway Communities. A valid Colleges of The Fenway ID will be required to attend this event.

CAB has recently received feedback from a couple of people with regards to the controversy this event brings a long with it. Last fall, we had the fortunate opportunity to hear Frank as a featured speaker at the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Regional Conference. Frank silenced an auditorium of approximately 2,000 students, staff, and faculty from different colleges in the New England area. After hearing his story, we decided that he would be a wonderful addition to the many diverse programs already offered here. We ask that you not only attend, but attend with an open mind to hear not the story of a man’s oppression, but the story of how he was one of the racist men and women we learn about every day. CAB did not plan this event with intentions of causing controversy and division on campus, but rather recognized that it already exists in society and used our resources to bring to Simmons a learning opportunity unlike many others we may have already had. Frank Meeink is not afraid to speak about his past choices and experiences to the audience-so please come with your important questions and comments.
