Sexual Assault Awareness Event:
The Clothesline Project (CLP)is a program started on Cape Cod, MA, in 1990 to address the issue of violence against women. It is a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. The shirts are anonymously hung on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the issue of violence against women.
On Wed 3/29 from 10a-1p and 3-5p in Fac/Staff Lounge, we invite all woman and men at Wentworth Institute of Technology and Simmons College who is a survivor or knows a survivor to make a t-shirt. All shirts will be anonymous and donated to the Clothesline Project.
The t-shirts will be displayed at Colleges of the Fenway Take Back the Night on April 4 starting at 6:30 pm AND at WIT on April 11 from 11a-7p in the Facutly Staff Dining Room.
Come and let your voices be heard! Wednesday, March 29, 2006 WIT Faculty/Staff Lounge 10am-1pm & 3-5pm
