Summer Employment Opportunities in Undergraduate Admission!!!
We are looking for 4 fabulous Student Assistants/Tour Guides…
The Summer Student Assistants/Tour Guides will provide support to both the Counseling and Operational Staff from May 16 through the end of August. Responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as typing, filing, data entry, processing mail and assisting with mass mailings. Other responsibilities will include giving tours to prospective students and their families, answering a multi-line telephone, and greeting visitors at the front desk. Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned based on interest, major and talent! Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Current Undergraduate Simmons Student
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Responsible and reliable
- Professional appearance
- Good communication and telephone skills
- Ability to type well and proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Interest and ability to learn new software applications
- Ability to work independently
- Sincere enthusiasm for Simmons and the ability to articulate the “Simmons Experience.”
