New utilities need to be brought down the Avenue Louis Pasteur (ALP) driveway to connect into the new SOM. Utilities also need to be brought in the Palace Road exit driveway. We have the contractor working nights to accomplish this scope of work. They will work Monday through Friday from 8 PM to 6 AM. We would like to start this work on Monday, August 14 at 8 PM. We will maintain this schedule until Friday, September 1 (3 weeks duration). After September 1, we will make adjustments to the start time as dictated by classes and events of the new academic year. We anticipate the ALP driveway work being completed around this September 1 date. We will then continue working nights to complete the Palace Road driveway work.
During the working hours of 8 PM to 6 AM until 9/1/06: The ALP driveway will be closed to all traffic. The garage will be closed to entering traffic. All cars in the garage will be able to exit at any time by the Palace Road driveway. The Palace Road driveway will remain open for exiting purposes at all times. Anyone with a parking permit for the garage who needs to arrive after 8:00pm will be able to park in the MCB loading dock area during these night work hours. Please contact the Parking Office, 617-521-2886 if you need to arrive after 8:00pm on any evening between Monday, 8/14 and Friday, 9/1.
