Starting next Monday, September 18th for approximately three weeks the contractor relocating underground utilities will be working at the end of the main campus driveway at Palace Road during the day. This means that from 7:00am to 3:30pm each day there will be no vehicular or pedestrian traffic to Palace Road. Any cars leaving the Palace Road garage during these hours will need to exit the driveway on Avenue Louis Pasteur. Pedestrians and bicycles will not be able to cut through campus along the driveway during these hours.

Full access to and from the garage will be maintained at ALL times. Access to and from Avenue Louis Pasteur is NOT affected by this change.

There will be regular access to Palace Road from the driveway after 3:30 each day. There will be signs posted at both ends of the driveway to alert drivers and pedestrians to this temporary change. There will also be a Public Safety detail assigned as needed to make sure traffic keeps flowing.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact Dominic Ingegneri in Facilities at Dominic.Ingegneri@simmons.edu or ext 2063 with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your continued patience.
