Digital Stories: A Faculty Perspective

On Thursday September 28th at 12:30 there will be a faculty lunch on Digital Storytelling in P113. Ellen Goodman will screen "From Isolation to Connection: Telling the Story," a short video she produced, and discuss the relevance of digital storytelling for reflective learning.
This past May, twelve intrepid people enrolled in a Faculty Institute entitled "Teaching and Learning with Digital Stories." In just three days, faculty and staff participants worked with facilitators from the Center for Digital Storytelling to produce 3-5 minute digital videos. Come see a screening of one of the pieces, Ellen Goodman’s "From Isolation to Connection: Telling the Story," and hear what an institute graduate has to say about the relevance of digital storytelling for reflective learning. At the lunch you will also receive a handout with tips and guidelines for becoming involved in digital storytelling at Simmons.
