It is my pleasure to announce that Todd K. Herriott has accepted the position of Director of the Academic Support Center. Todd joined Simmons College in 2004 as ADA compliance officer and director of disabilities services. In a very short time, Todd’s work with students, faculty, staff, and administrators brought a new depth of understanding to disabilities services throughout the College and in individual lives. One of Todd’s first projects will be to hire a new disabilities services professional. I look forward to working closely with Todd to pursue a vision of academic support that stresses excellence in all facets – from academic advising to the writing center to peer tutoring.
