As we begin the spring semester, this is a reminder that norovirus, the very unpleasant gastrointestinal illness that struck many at Simmons before the winter break, is still alive and well in the greater Boston area. Many cases continue to be reported to the city Health Department, the most recent cases being at Emmanuel College.
Although we have had no new cases in the Simmons community, please protect yourself by maintainng good hygiene. Most importantly, remember to wash your hands frequently, especially after using the restroom and before eating.
Best wishes for a healthy and productive spring semester!
