Based in Boston, the Union of Minority Neighborhoods works locally and regionally to ensure that skilled, committed, grassroots leaders of color effectively organize on issues of concern in their communities, region and nation. Honorees include: Hon. Kenneth E. Reeves, Massachusetts Jobs with Justice and Refelct and Strengthen. Guest Speaker: Michel Martin, Emmy award-winning journalist, NPR and regular panelist on the PBS series Washington Week and contributor to NOW with Bill Moyers. Friday, February 9 at 7:00pm in the Linda K. Paresky Conference Center. Individual tickets $50, $20 for Simmons Faculty, Staff and Alumnae, $15 for Simmons students.
