FACULTY join the Professors’ Challenge!
The Class of 2007 presents
The Professors’ Challenge: A Trivia Extravaganza!
Wednesday, April 11th
6:30-8pm
Linda K Paresky Center
Based on faculty feedback, The Class of 2007 has re-formatted the Professor Simmons Extravaganza! The Professors’ Challenge will be a “Jeopardy” style team event where teams of faculty will compete to see who has the best trivia knowledge!
The potential categories include:
Simmons Trivia, Pop Culture, Boston Trivia, Technology, Academic Knowledge, “Lost in Translation”
The Class of 2007 is looking for a maximum of six faculty teams. Teams should have a minimum of three faculty members and a maximum of five.
Event Itinerary
6:30 - 6:45 p.m. Welcome and Team Introductions
6:45 - 7:10 p.m. Round 1 (first three teams compete)
7:15 - 7:40 p.m. Round 2 (remaining three teams compete)
7:45 - 7:55 p.m. Round 3 (winning teams from Round 1 & 2 compete in mini-round)
8:00 - 8:15 p.m. Final Jeopardy (final question for winning teams from Round 1 & 2)
* Time guidelines will be strictly followed!!*
Prizes for the winning team will include public recognition at Senior Faculty Banquet and VIP treatment at Senior Faculty Banquet (you get your food first)!
REGISTRATION has begun! Register your team ASAP!
To REGISTER a team for this event, email classof2007@simmons.edu with the names and departments of the faculty on the team, contact information for the team captain, and a name for your team! If any team wishes to issue a challenge to another team of faculty, please include that information in the email as well!
