Registration for Ready or Not: the Senior Experience will begin on Monday, March 12, 2007. Just go to the Student Box Office, select the sessions you’d like to attend, and pay your $5 registration fee.
The dress code for this event is professional attire (no jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sneakers).
If you are unable to get to the Student Box Office this week, you may register through e-mail to susan.chudd@simmons.edu In your e-mail, indicate which sessions you will attend. If you chose this method of registration, you can pay your fee at the event.
Here are the descriptions of each session.
For Part A, pick either:
Session 1: Negotiating in the “Real World”: Learn tips on how to negotiate salaries, apartment fees, benefits, and roommate relationships.
-or-
Session 2: Financial Planning: Learn how to manage your budget, find affordable housing, consolidate your loans, and much more.
For Part B, you may choose either :
Session 3: Work-Life Balance: Learn how to handle the many stresses of “life.” coping with such things as the emotional toll of moving away, getting to know your “new community,” and finding a doctor and health plan.

Session 4: Life after Simmons: Join alumnae for this panel discussion where they will share their personal experiences of life after graduation.
