PROFESSORS WANTED FOR THE PROFESSORS’ CHALLENGE!
Tuesday, May 15th
1:30-3:00pm
Linda K Paresky Center
Based on faculty feedback, The Class of 2007 has re-formatted the Professor Simmons Extravaganza! The Professorsâ Challenge will be a âJeopardyâ-style team event where teams of faculty will compete to see who has the best trivia knowledge!
The potential categories include:
Simmons Trivia
Pop Culture
Boston Trivia
Technology
Academic Knowledge
âLost in Translationâ
The Class of 2007 is looking for a maximum of six faculty teams.
Teams should have a minimum of three faculty members and a maximum of five.
Event Itinerary
1:30 - 1:40 p.m. Welcome and Team Introductions
1:40 - 2:05 p.m. Round 1 (first three teams compete)
2:05 - 2:35 p.m. Round 2 (remaining three teams compete)
2:35 - 2:45 p.m. Round 3 (winning teams from Round 1 & 2 compete in mini-round)
2:45 - 3:00 p.m. Final Jeopardy (final question for winning teams from Round 1 & 2)
* Time guidelines will be strictly followed!!*
To REGISTER a team for this event, email classof2007@simmons.edu with the names and departments of the faculty on the team, contact information for the team captain, and a name for your team! If any team wishes to issue a challenge to another team of faculty, please include that information in the email as well!
