“Chart Your Course” Simmons Advertising Team will be going to Washington!

On Thursday evening, May 3rd, before our advanced advertising teams presented their ad campaigns to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Director Thomas Betro and his staff, the Director made a surprise announcement. He invited the team selected for the Simmons College, Department of Communications Copy and Layout Award to travel to Washington, D.C. to tour the NCIS headquarters and to present their ad campaign to his executive board.
The team and their Professor Ed Vieira will fly to Washington as NCIS guests on Thursday, May 10th, and return the next day.
The team members are:
- Emily Catallozzi,
- Olga Karagiannis,
- Kate Mistretta,
- Kimberley Mitchell, &
- Anna Reinhard.
Their work will be used in NCIS ad campaigns designed to recruit women and minorities for special agent positions. Let’s congratulate our students for doing an outstanding job.
