Simmons Shuttle Service Ends

Effective Friday, July 6, at 11:00 PM the Simmons Shuttle will no longer be in service. The shuttle was originally created in response to the reduced parking on the Simmons Campus and was intended to support those individuals who use public transportation. However, ridership has decreased substantially in the past few months; frequently the shuttle picks up no riders or one rider at any one of the six stops during its route. Additionally, Simmons has offered increased parking opportunities to faculty, staff, and students and expects to sustain opportunities for on-campus parking in the Fall.
For those who use public transportation, specifically the Ruggles station, the Ruggles Express Shuttle is available from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
Again, the Simmons Shuttle will no longer be in service effective Friday, July 6, at 11:00 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience.
