Free College Nights at Local Museums

Museum of Science
4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Free admission for a night of complimentary exhibits, laser shows, live programs, and more. This year, while touring the main Exhibit Halls, students can explore the Butterfly Garden, featuring hundreds of free-flying butterflies. They can catch a live presentation at the Gordon Current Science and Technology Center, or meet residents of the Museum’s Live Animal Center. Students can rock out to dazzling laser shows set to popular music at the Charles Hayden Planetarium, where a 3-D Digital Cinema transports them to outer space. Students may view view 3-D images of the Sun—or participate in a virtual underwater adventures with Sharks.

Highlights of this year’s event include a concert by Thurston Moore,lead singer of Sonic Youth, DJ dance parties, $2 slices of pizza, the opening of our new shoe exhibition, and the launch of MFA mobile wallpapers, all of which are free with college id.
