Student Fall Parking Update

As we approach the Fall semester, we would like to provide an update on Fall parking availability.

Daytime Update

Daytime parking will become available on campus when the new garage opens. If there are no construction delays, we anticipate the first level opening in mid/late September and the second level opening in mid/late November. Full-time students will receive the first opportunity to purchase permits and permit sales will be limited or suspended if garage capacity is reached. The opening will be announced via email, campus announcement, and on the web at http://my.simmons.edu/parking

Evening Update

Evening permits went on sale Monday, August 20 and purchases may be made in the Campus Card Office or by mailing or faxing an order form. Detailed information about your permit options and ordering is below.

Evening Permits

For classes beginning at 5:30pm or after — allows entrance to garage after 5:00pm.

Permits are sold based on your class schedule. Evening-a-Week permits are valid on a specific evening each week.

Eligibility

To purchase parking, students must meet the following conditions:

  1. Live more than 1.5 miles away from Simmons College
  2. Be registered for classes - registration may be confirmed by logging into AARC http://aarc.simmons.edu or calling the Registrar at 617-521-2100.
  3. Be cleared by Student Financial Services - a semester tuition bill is considered cleared if the tuition has been paid in full or if financial aid covers all costs. To confirm that you are cleared, please call Student Financial Services at 617-521-2009.
  4. Know the license plate number of each car that you intend to drive to Simmons.

Purchasing Permits

Please note that permit sales will be limited or suspended if garage capacity is reached.
