If so, TUTORING at Beacon Academy is right for you!

What is Beacon Academy? Beacon Academy is a 14-month prep school for high school, first of its kind in the nation, which prepares Boston students for the rigors of independent and competitive public exam high schools. Students who have successfully completed 8th grade may apply for this extra year of rigorous academics, social, and cultural experiences.

Who can tutor? Sophomore, Junior, and Senior English, mathematics, and education majors and minors are preferred; however, other relevant majors and minors are welcome.

When do I tutor?

  1. Mondays 4-5pm at Temple Israel
  2. Tuesdays 1:30-3pm at Temple Israel
  3. Thursdays 4-5pm at Temple Israel
  4. Saturdays 10am-12pm at Simmons College (*Tutors must commit to at least 2 hrs per week)

Where do I tutor? Temple Israel (477 Longwood Ave; a 5 minute walk from the Residence Campus) or Simmons College.

Other Available Opportunity:

  1. Administrative Assistant: Assist the Head of School and Head of Development in office administration, Should be highly organized, Hours are flexible.
