Segrest, professor of gender and women’s studies at Connecticut College, is the author of My Mama’s Dead Squirrel: Lesbian Essays on Southern Culture, Memoir of a Race Traitor, and Born to Belonging: Writings on Spirit and Justice.
Presented by Community Change and hosted by the Simmons Institute for Leadership and Change.
Free for Simmons students; suggested donation $20 for all others. Proceeds to benefit Community Change, a Boston-based organization promoting racial justice and equity by challenging systemic racism and acting as a catalyst for antiracist action and learning.
