Math for America will visit The Fens at Simmons College on Thursday, September 20th from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Math for America (MfA) is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve mathematics education in public schools. MfA’s Fellowship recruits, trains, and retains mathematically-talented individuals to become outstanding high school math teachers. The five-year Fellowship offers generous financial incentives ($90,000 over five years in addition to teaching salary), a full tuition scholarship for a master’s in education at one of MfA’s Partner Universities (Bard, NYU, and Teachers College at Columbia University), and support services including mentoring, professional development, and camaraderie with a group of teachers who know and love math.
