Do you know someone whose life exemplifies the values and mission of Simmons College? If so, consider nominating that person for an Honorary Degree from the College.

The Simmons College Honorary Degree Committee is now accepting nominations for degrees to be presented at Commencement in 2009.

We are looking for nominees who are leaders in their field, who display the determination to make a difference, and who embody the values of the Simmons community.

Past recipients have included John Prendergast, Coretta Scott King, Gloria Steinem, Elie Wiesel, Maya Angelou, and Doris Kearns Goodwin. The nominees don’t have to be famous; Simmons also honors individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the world, and to the College, without necessarily making headlines.

Please fill out the nomination form (download below) and return it to Dan Connell in Room L306 in the Communications Department by October 31, 2007.
