Five Sharks Named to GNAC Weekly Honor Roll

Boston, Mass. - Senior Sarah Daniel and sophomore Rachel Elliott were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women’s soccer on Wednesday, Oct. 17, while senior Alex Yudelevich and freshman Maile Macleod were tabbed in women’s tennis. Freshman Dalia Cohen was honored in volleyball.
Daniel, a tri-captain scored the game-winning goal with just over 10 minutes remaining in a 2-1 victory over Johnson & Wales on Oct. 8. She also assisted in the game-winner against Rivier on Oct. 13. Elliot, a goalkeeper, allowed just one goal in 152 minutes of play.
Yudelevich, a co-captain, won two out of her three matches at top singles last week and went a perfect 2-0 at first doubles. Macleod, who leads the Sharks with an 11-2 singles record, won all three of her matches last week.
Cohen, a setter who went to high school in Israel, averaged 9.73 assists per game in leading the Sharks to a 2-1 mark last week. She recorded 39 assists in a 3-1 win over Newbury on Tuesday, Oct. 9 and had 38 helpers in a 3-1 win over Suffolk on Saturday, Oct. 13.
