WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Girls Preparing to Succeed (GPS) is a group dedicated to instilling Simmons’ values to young high school women in the public school systems of surrounding urban communities

Opportunities to work directly with young women, plan curriculum, run group sessions, represent GPS at local leadership/community conferences, possibility of work study credit and/or payment, meet local leaders, & build lasting relationships

LAST YEAR’S MENTORS MET WITH DEVAL PATRICK!

When: 4 planning/training sessions for mentors at Simmons during fall semester and weekly classes at high school February-May of 2008

Where: Cambridge Rindge & Latin high school or New Mission Hill high school

Mentor Applications Due: November 1

Decisions Made: November 7
