2008 ALA Conference Student-to-Staff Opportunity

Every year one Simmons GSLIS student is given the opportunity to attend the Annual American Library Association Conference via the Student-to-Staff program. In exchange for working with ALA staff from a variety of divisions for 4 hours per day of the conference, the student’s registration, transportation, and housing costs for attending the conference are covered. Not only do you get to attend the largest conference for professional librarians but you get to network with fellow LIS students and current professionals—it’s the best of both worlds!
