Announcing the arrival of a new student group in the Scott/Ross Center for Community Service.
Service Learning Ambassadors is a group for students interested in learning more about service learning, spreading awareness about it throughout the college, and developing activities and ideas to support service learning students and faculty. Students who choose to participate in this group will receive training centered around leadership, advocacy, and the importance and impact of service learning for individuals and the community as a whole.
If you’ve had a great service learning experience, have ideas for improvement, or want to spread the word about service learning at Simmons and beyond, contact servicelearning@simmons.edu or stop by the Scott/Ross Center (W102) for more information.
Come visit our table in the lower Fens for more information about the group this Wednesday afternoon, November 28th. We hope to see you there.
