Join the Scott/Ross Center and Boston Cares to make a child’s holiday more fun.
The Boston Cares Frosty’s Friends Program provides gifts to kids from Greater Boston’s emergency shelters, community centers, low-income housing programs, educational programs, and day care centers. Last year, over 1,700 volunteers played Frosty and purchased a gift for a child through the program.
Frosty’s Friends is great because each volunteer gets an actual handwritten and hand-decorated letter from a child in the program requesting a specific gift. Gifts will need to be purchased, wrapped and returned to the Scott/Ross Center by noon on Tuesday 12/4
Please stop by the Scott/Ross Center (MCB W102) this week to sign up and pick up a letter. For more information, or if you have questions, please contact Sara Ochoa, Simmons Community Outreach (SCO) president, at Sara.Ochoa@simmons.edu.
