MacKenzie, Caldwell Earn All-Conference Honors in Soccer

Boston, Mass – Freshman midfielder Brooke MacKenzie (Mansfield, MA) and senior defender Andrea Caldwell (Braintree, MA) were both named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference First Team.
MacKenzie tallied seven goals (team co-leader) and four assists on the season. MacKenzie was also ranked seventh in the conference with 61 shots in 18 games played.
Caldwell scored five goals and recorded four assists on the season, totaling 14 points on the season. Caldwell started the season as a defender, but was moved to forward periodically to spark the offense. Caldwell was also named GNAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week on Oct. 23.
The Sharks finished their season 8-9-2, GNAC 7-5-2. The team is looking forward to their March training trip in Italy.
