Student Pay Checks for December, Direct Deposit and Address Review
There is still time to initiate direct deposit for the next student pay date, which is Friday, December 14, 2007. Direct deposit is strongly recommended, and not having to go to the bank when you’re in the midst of studying for finals, or missing the check because you’ve already gone home is one less thing you have to worry about.
The last pay date for 2007 will be Thursday, December 20, 2007. For those students who still do not have direct deposit, your check will be available at the Cashier’s Window. Please be sure to pick your check up before leaving for Winter Break.
The first pay date in 2008 will be Friday, January 4, 2008, for any hours worked for weeks ending 12/16/07 and 12/29/07.
Please take a minute to look at the information on your pay stubs and pay checks. Is the address correct? We will mail out 2007 W2’s in mid-January, and they will be delivered to the address on your most recent pay stub.
Direct deposit forms are available in the Payroll Office, W-105. Direct deposit is the best way to avoid claiming your check, having to deposit your check or losing your check.
