Thank you Simmons Community for an extremely successful World AIDS Day.
Through the clothing drive, we collected 15 large trash bags of clothing. The clothes were donated to ‘Boomerangs’ of Jamaica Plains; a second hand clothing store that donates all profits to AIDS relief and research. The Simmons community also raised over $200 for YouthAIDS, a non-profit organization that stresses awareness and help to youth, families and women. Finally, we were able to give away over 550 informational bags spreading awareness within our community. Thank you, THANK YOU for everyone who participated and contributed to this success!
