Americorp Education Awards available for students completing 300 hours or community service

Are you volunteering with the community this year? You can be part of this Americorps program recognizing student service with the community. If you will complete 300 hours of service this year (February 2008 - January 2009) you are eligible to apply for a $1000 Americorp education award. Field placement hours along with federal community service work-study hours can count toward the 300 hours of service required for the scholarship. Sponsored by Americorp, Massachusetts Campus Compact, and facilitated by the Scott/Ross Center for Community Service, this education award recognizes students who make a strong commitment to service and community based organizations.
