Sharks fall to Emmanuel

The Simmons College basketball team dropped a tough one Saturday to cross street rival Emmanuel 83-56 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest. The Saints jumped out to an early lead in the first half thanks to hot shooting from Iman Davis who finished with a game high 22 points. The full court pressure defense the Saints pride themselves on hounded Simmons into 35 turnovers on the night. The Sharks had two players in double figures scoring as senior Nikki Cohen (Wellesley, Mass.) poured in a team high 14 points. Junior Sarah Clayton (Falmouth, Mass.) chipped in with 13 points on the afternoon/ On the glass the tandem of Stephanie Fox (W. Springfield, Mass.) and Lauren Kreckie (Braintree, Mass.) combined for 14 rebounds.
