Simmons eLearning Tips are an ongoing series for faculty and staff that showcases new, old, and sometimes overlooked features of Simmons eLearning.

Another new addition in the eLearning upgrade is the Roster tool which enables you to see your students’ pictures they have uploaded and made public in their profiles. Your students can also use the roster tool to see their classmates and instructors, creating a better sense of familiarity with the course participants, building community online and offline. Instructors can also view the email address and username of each student, and both students and instructors can print the roster out for offline reference.

However, please bear in mind that enrollments in eLearning courses - especially at the start of a semester - may be less current than the up-to-the-minute enrollment information available in AARC.

Step-by-step walkthroughs of this and other tips are available in the Simmons eLearning Tips Section of the Faculty Resource Center.
