Maureen Ellenberger currently serves as the CEO of auctionPAL (http://www.auctionpal.com), a company holding expertise in selling goods online - from e-tailing to auctions through all existing channels and markets. The company leverages their unique infrastructure, skills and experience base to find channels and create programs that deliver higher than average pricing in each marketplace while insuring that the online buyer is delighted with the experience. auctionPAL works with a broad range of businesses such as electronics, sporting goods, collectibles, jewelry, art, etc. Each category is different, and each business within the category is unique. AuctionPAL can:
- Develop a business’s online presence
- Take the online work off company hands so they can focus on your core business
- Improve the ROI of current online efforts
- Help free up space and/or working capital by liquidating unwanted inventory
Prior to joining auctionPAL, Maureen was the CEO of a venture backed IT infrastructure and services management firm and worked as a consultant to CEOs of venture backed startups, providing both managerial and operations support as well as funding and sales strategy assistance. She recently completed a one-year project at Battery Ventures as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, investigating opportunities in the technology enabled services marketplace and is an advisory board member of Ascend Consulting. Maureen brings over 28 years of experience in the design and development of business software and applications as well as extensive work in the strategic and IT consulting space. She started her career at where she was involved in development of UNIX systems that were used in telecommunications operational support systems. She worked in a variety of management and development roles with AT&T Bell Laboratories, IBM, HP and many other partners at Open Software Foundation before moving into application consulting work at Cambridge Technology Partners in the mid 1990s. In recent years, she has focused on creating and managing companies from startup, acquisition and rapid growth. Beginning in September 1997, her primary focus was on the successful creation and management of Eggrock Partners. As CEO and president, she grew the company from an idea to a profitable $30 million systems integration and business solutions firm focused on emerging enterprise and mid market clients.
