Steps to Success is a long-term initiative to help low-income students in Brookline succeed in school and prepare for post-secondary education. Tutors provide academic support to 5th and 6th grade students on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Thursdays from 2-5pm at the Lawrence School (a 15 minute walk from Simmons). Tutors also coordinate a series of college visits for participating students.
There is a mandatory 1 hour weekly meeting and a 1 day training session.
