Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center Chinese New Year Banquet Looking for Volunteers - Friday, Feb 29, 4 to 7:30

The Annual Chinese Lunar New Year Banquet is the biggest community celebration and fundraiser for the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (www.bcnc.net http://www.bcnc.net ). The banquet attracts over 600 guests and raises over $90,000 unrestricted funds for all our programs for child care, after school, youth and adults.

Volunteers are needed for the 4:30 to 7:30 pm shift, you are welcome to stay longer to help out. Volunteers are askedto dress in business or cultural attire, as appropriate, to add to the festivity. There will be a volunteer meal served around 7:30 pm in the restaurant.

Duties include: Decoration and set up. Registration. Photographer assistant. Silent auction, assist artisans and cultural activities tables.
