Volunteers Wanted: Housing Room Selection Committee

Dear Residence Community,
The Office of Residence Life would like to invite you to be a member of the 2008-2009 Housing Room Selection Committee.
Your charge will be to:
*Participate in round table planning discussions about the upcoming room selection process
*Serve as an information resource to residents about the room selection process
*Share student concerns with the committee as they may arise
*Assist in publicizing the Open Houses in each of the residence halls
This commitment would be four meetings. If you are interested and can meet on Thursdays between 3:00 pm and 5:00pm (exact time TBA depending on schedules), please email the Reslife front desk at reslife@simmons.edu by Monday, March 3, 2008 to let us know if you are willing to participate. Please indicate a time preference in your email. Our first meeting will be March 20, 2008 in the Residence Life Conference Center.
The entire committee will consist of:
one affiliate housing representative,
one Hall Council representative,
one SGA representative,
one first year representative,
one returning student representative,
one Graduate/Dix representative,
and one RA representative
If you are not interested, or are not available, please feel free to forward any feedback, questions, or concerns to us through our upcoming Housing Selection survey. We are anxious to receive input from all of the student body to make this the best process possible.
