The 2008 Women of Power conference on Monday, March 17 at 6:00 pm in the Linda K. Paresky Conference Center will assemble Afro-Latina activists from Latin America, the Caribbean and Central America who envision and are working towards an empowered future for their communities. These Women of Power will share information and experiences that will develop collaborative networks of mutual support in a struggle for social, racial, economic, educational, environmental, cultural and gender equality.
