‘Today the Hawk Takes One Chick’ a film by Jane Gillooly:
In Swaziland (southern Africa), the circle of life has been turned on its head. Grandmother Gogos are forced to watch their adult children die of AIDS, and to raise their many grandchildren on their own. Today the Hawk Takes One Chick follows three Gogos living in a society at the threshold of collapse. Directors Jane Gillooly and Robert Gardner will speak following the film.
