Reminder: 2008-2009 Senior Interviewer Applications are now available!

The Office of Undergraduate Admission invites candidates to apply for the position of Senior Interviewer for the 2008-2009 academic year. Senior Interviewers conduct interviews and information sessions with prospective first-year, transfer, and Dix students. They meet with many students and families throughout the year and play an important role in the college admission process for both Simmons and the prospective students. Senior Interviewers find this to be a rewarding experience that also strengthens their resume and fine-tunes their professional skills.

Qualifications Senior Interviewers must be full-time students with senior status during the 2008-2009 academic year, have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, strong communication skills, a sense of humor, be articulate, and able to relate effectively to a wide range of constituencies.

All undergraduate students who are rising seniors, including transfers and Dix Scholars, are encouraged to apply.

This is a competitively paid position in which a minimum of ten to fifteen hours per week is required during the fall semester, in addition to some Saturday mornings. During the spring semester, only occasional Saturday duty is required.

Application and Deadline Applications are now available in the Office of Undergraduate Admission, MCB C-116. The deadline to submit your application and recommendation has been extended to accomodate spring break. The deadline is now Friday, March 21, 2008.
