POSTER TITLE: GSLIScast: Adventures in Podcasting
In 2006, GSLIS proposed a new Internet podcasting service that would distribute audio and video content that documented the events and colloquia of the School for new students, alumni, and other LIS professionals. The proposal was funded by the Pottruck Technology Resource Center, and development of the program began during the fall 2006 semester. By spring 2007, lectures and other events hosted by the school were regularly being posted to the new GSLIScast podcast stream.
