The Mission Hill Youth Collaborative Presents: Mission on the Move: Showcase of Stars A Celebration to Honor Youth in Mission Hill
Date: April 28th, 2007, 5-8pm; Location: Pozen Center, MassArt
Reception: 5-6pm - featuring neighborhood exploration space and artwork exhibits of local youth; Dinner: 6-8pm - featuring youth and leadership awards and a showcase of local talent
VOLUNTEER TO HELP!! This special event is a fundraiser and awards dinner for the Mission Hill Youth Collaborative. The event is intended to honor the good that youth and youth programs do in our community and offer motivation to youth from the neighborhood. They are hosting a “black tie” awards ceremony, complete with Red Carpet, to honor our local youth Stars! Additionally, the event hopes to raise funds to continue to support the youth work that goes on in our local community agencies.
We need volunteers on the night of the event (dinner will be provided) as well as helping with events leading up to the event! There are a variety of tasks you can help with, including set up and break down of event, staffing of ticket/raffle/welcome table, serving of food/cake, cleanup, etc.
Please consider spending some time helping this wonderful cause in our community!
If you are willing able to volunteer from 5-8pm or for any 2 hour block between 4 and 8:30, the MHYC would love to have your help. Volunteers should plan on wearing an all black outfit that they don’t mind getting a little messy.
