The Simmons Chapter of the Association of Black Social Workers (ABSW) and the Black Student Organization (BSO) are sponsoring a Summit for Black students: The Black Experience at Simmons: Past, Present & Future. It will be held Saturday, June 7 in the Kotzen Meeting Room, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Come learn about the experience of Black students at Simmons from various perspectives, and connect with us as we discuss how to maximize the opportunities that Simmons has to offer. We will also discuss how to handle the challenges associated with being minority students on a college campus.
