JUMPSTART IS NOW HIRING! Jumpstart is a national nonprofit Americorps program that pairs college students one-on-one with children in a low-income preschool. Read stories, sing songs and play games that support young children’s school readiness! Earn a work-study wage and an AmeriCorps $1000 education award in the process! Fulfill your requirement for service learning placements, internships, and field work while getting paid! Jumpstart is both a great resume builder and wonderful practical experience in making a difference outside the classroom. Jumpstart Corps members work 12 hours a week in a year long commitment with their special partner child.
