Here’s a quick look at upcoming CEC events scheduled for the week of 10/27/2008 - 11/03/2008:
Employer Information Session: Massachusetts Biologic Laboratories Monday, October 27th, 3:00-4:30 pm, Lefavour Building, Room 428 Massachusetts Biologic Laboratories is a unit of the UMass Medical School. They are an FDA-licensed site for the manufacture of vaccines and other medicines. They have full-time and internship positions in the research, clinical, administration, and IT areas and are interested in meeting with science and other majors. RSVP is required for this event.
Off-campus Career Event: Boston Herald’s Workplace Diversity Job Fair Tuesday, October 28th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Radisson Hotel Boston, 200 Stuart Street, Boston Place yourself in front of Greater Boston’s top companies looking to fill positions in areas of sales, business, medical, technology and more! Off-campus Career Event: ALPFA Workshop - Learn How to Land an Internship Saturday, November 1st, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Landmark Center, 401 Park Drive, 4th Floor, Boston Head over to the Landmark Center for this important career event! Organized by the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) Boston, this event provides great opportunities to land an internship with a sponsor firm in accounting, finance and business related industries. Off-campus Career Event: Muslim American Society Law Enforcement Career Fair Saturday, November 1st, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Cultural Center (ISBCC), 100 Malcolm X Boulevard, Roxbury, MA Organized by the Muslim American Society (MAS) Boston, this event brings together recruiters from several law enforcement agencies including FBI, TSA (Transportation and Security Administration), ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), CBP (Customs and Border Patrol), MA State Police, Boston Police and others! CEC Workshop: Choosing a Major Sunday, November 2nd, 5:30-7:30 pm, Simmons Hall Lounge Undecided or want to change your major? Come to this highly interactive workshop designed to help with the process of evaluating and choosing a major. Take the mystery out of finding a good fit. Participate in fun activities and get helpful tips and resources that speak to your strengths and interests for exploring your options. Enjoy some pizza and refreshments.
